Underground Detention and CisterN INSTALLATION

With millions of cubic feet of underground detention installed, Exact Stormwater Management is your go-to partner to ensure proper installation of your detention system. We make sure the system is installed correctly, and can help navigate around common pitfalls. We install every system out there, including arched chambers (ADS’ StormTech and Cultec’s Recharger), modular box systems (Ferguons’s R-Tank, Brentwood’s StormTank, and ACO’s StormBrixx), and concrete vaults (StormTrap and StormCapture).

Underground Detention MAINTENANCE

Keep your underground stormwater detention, infiltration, and cistern systems working properly with regular inspections and required maintenance.  We perform inspections and maintenance on all underground detention systems including: R-Tank, RainTank, StormTech arch chambers, isolator rows, Cultec, pipe detention systems by Contech, ADS, Lane Enterprises, and others.

Haven’t had your Suntree Skimboss Filtration System maintained recently? Let us help you get back into compliance with our Inspection, Cleaning, and, when needed, cartridge replacement confined space teams. Also cleaning Suntree Nutrient Separating Baffle Boxes and most other stormwater facilities.

Bioretention FacilitY, Biofilter, Dry Swale

Bioretention systems, biofilters, rain gardens, dry swales, compost amended grass swales, and many other variations of a semi-natural stormwater filter all serve to clean stormwater before it enters our streams. We specialize in proper installation of these systems - the right materials in the right arrangement at the right time - to make sure the system works as designed.

Stormwater POND, Detention Ponds, Wet Ponds

Stormwater ponds can be an effective and attractive method of managing water quality and flow. They require regular maintenance to remove sediment, keep inlets and outlets clear and free of debris, and properly maintain vegetation. Let us restore the functionality of your pond and develop a routine maintenance program to protect your investment and keep your site beautiful.

Sand/Cartridge Filters, Hydrodynamic Separators

We maintain all types of manufactured treatment devices (MTD’s) such as sand filters, cartridge filters like StormFilter, Bayfilter, Perk filter, Jellyfish filter, Modular Wetlands, and many others. We have industrial vacuums that remove sediment from these filters as well as hydrodynamic separators such as Hydroguard, Stormceptor, Contech CDS, Baysaver, First Defense, Aqua-Swirl, Downstream Defender, Vortechs, and others.

We install many types of impermeable liners in the Southeast. Liners are typically 30 mil PVC, HDPE, LDPE, RPP, RPE, XR-5, and many other types of liner for the best fit for your application. With personnel in the liner business since 1992, we are the go-to company for liner installations. Underground Detention - More Info

Permeable Pavement

brick permeable pavers in Virginia

Permeable pavements are alternative paving surfaces that allow stormwater runoff to filter through voids in the pavement surface into an underlying stone reservoir, where it is temporarily stored and/or infiltrated. We install many types of permeable pavements from grass pavers to concrete brick-type pavers.

Drainage Improvement - Commercial / HOA

America’s aging infrastructure impacts all of us. The challenges that we see in the stormwater world every day include corroded pipes, outdated designs, mediocre workmanship, and lack of maintenance. Today, we have more frequent and larger rain events which reveal the weaknesses of our drainage system.

We can help:

  • repair sink holes around storm structures and along pipe runs

  • install french drains to handle additional water and/or add infiltration basins in low lying areas

  • repair and/or replace corrugated metal stormwater pipes and drainage structures

  • visual camera inspection of stormwater systems

  • vacuum stormwater structures to remove sediment and debris to improve flow
